Care guide

Care for materials properly so they age with character instead of wearing down too quickly.

This page gathers launch-safe guidance for the material families that appear most often at nanoHome: matte-finished wood, leather, woven textiles, powder-coated metal and natural stone.

The care guide does not replace the instructions that come from each brand, but it creates a consistent baseline so customers can start caring for materials correctly from day one.

The writing is meant for real homes: what to do every week, what to avoid, and when it is better to contact the nanoHome team before trying to fix a surface alone.

General baseline

Prefer gentle but consistent care.

Most premium surfaces do not need aggressive treatment. They need stable maintenance, the right cleaners and the right cloths so the finish can last longer.

  • Avoid prolonged direct sun on the same exposed surface.
  • Do not use strong solvents or all-purpose cleaners without verifying the material.
  • Always test on a discreet area before treating a larger zone.

Wood, leather and textiles

Each material needs a different level of care.

Wood should be dried quickly after liquid contact. Leather should be protected from heat and sustained abrasion. Woven textiles benefit from gentle regular vacuuming so fine dust does not settle deeply.

When to ask for help

Reach back out before treating deep marks or discoloration.

If a surface develops a deeper stain, color shift or structural issue, the safest path is to document the condition and contact nanoHome for guidance specific to that material family.
